Learning More About Our Indigenous Neighbors

In 2021, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force developed a Strategic Plan for upholding commitments CLC has in our land acknowledgment. We would like to provide some resources for learning and sharing the truths about history and the current situation of our lands and peoples. This is not a complete list, and we encourage you to do your own research and reflection.

CLC’s Land Acknowledgement:

We gratefully acknowledge that we gather on the ancestral homelands of the Lummi Nation of the Coast Salish language group who have stewarded this land since time immemorial, and we commit to the ongoing care of our shared land and relationships with its indigenous peoples.
